Extrusion And Foundary
The second component of brass is zinc. The amount of zinc varies between 5% and 40% by weight depending on the type of brass. Brasses with a higher percentages of zinc are stronger and harder, but they are also more difficult to form and have less corrosion resistance. The zinc used to make brass is a commercial grade sometimes known as spelter. Some brasses also contain small percentages of other materials to improve certain characteristics. Brass Material Plating
Usually, brass plating is post-treated with lacquer to prevent any tarnishing or discoloration. A brass-plating process is done mainly from cyanide solutions.The solution contains a mixture of copper and zinc cyanides, although zinc can exist in other forms as well.
Brass plating is the most widespread alloy plating method due to its color and decorative outlook. Applications vary from fasteners, lighters, and fittings to other hardware and even functional applications such as corrosion-resistant coatings in marine environments. We offer variety of packing options to cater our customer's need which includes, PVC/Thermal PVC bags, cardboard boxes, shrink wrapped, strapped supplied in wooden cases and pallets to avoid transport damage and weather effects. All bags, cartons and pallets are duly labelled to easily identify the items.
